<p>When you arrive, please follow the cones and directions from the workers. Bring your vehicle as close to the truck or dumpster as possible. Feel free to remain in your vehicle, our workers will unload your items for you. </p>
<p>Residents from all towns and communities are welcome to recycle. The event will be rain or shine. Computer hard drives will be destroyed during the recycling process, but can be removed on-site at the event  for an additional charge. Cash payment is preferred, but checks will be an acceptable form of payments over $30.</p>

Our 100+ singers and a professional live band will perform music from some of your favorite movies, featuring songs by Peter Gabriel, HUNTRIX, Simon &amp; Garfunkel, ABBA, Phil Collins, Bee Gees, Carly Simon, John Travolta &amp; Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Loggins, Adele, Paul McCartney, and more!&nbsp;Can you guess which movies?  Join us to find out if you're right! </p>

<p>In keeping with Rock Voices’ mission of “healing ourselves and others through song,” a gift basket raffle at the concert will benefit OUT MetroWest, an organization that serves LGBTQ+ youth and their families with youth programming, community events, and outreach in 35 towns in the Boston MetroWest area.   </p>

<p>Powers
 is located at 160 Lexington St., Belmont, MA 02478. Free parking is 
available in front of the building. We are also walking distance from 
Waverly Square, which is serviced by the MBTA’s Commuter Rail (Fitchburg
 Line) and the 73 bus.</p>
<p><em>Accessibility information: Powers 
currently requires guests to go up a short flight of stairs to the main 
floor of the school. We are committed to improving access to our 
building for those with limited mobility. The school is in the early 
stages of this large and important project, but there is no formal 
timeline set for when it will be started/completed as of yet.</em></p>

<p>On Sunday, September 20th, Sudbury will host our third inaugural <a href="https://kids.pmc.org/sudbury" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sudbury PMC Kids Bike Ride</a>.&nbsp;Our ride is a 1-mile loop that riders may enjoy as long as they would like. The one mile course is entirely paved and loops through the beautiful residential neighborhoods of historic Sudbury. Parents are welcome to ride with their children but it is not required. If a parent chooses to accompany their child on the bike, we ask that they register as volunteers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Many kids choose to ride the loop 3-6-12 or even 15 times. We encourage riders to participate as long as they would like. We will have special badges for riders who accomplish 5-8-12 and 15 miles, too! Please indicate at registration an estimate of your rider's total distance (this will help us for event organization).&nbsp;</p><p>There is also an enclosed parking lot loop all starting from Curtis Middle School in Sudbury, MA. (Adults may opt to register as volunteers if they would like to ride with the kids). Before the ride there will be music and bike decorating; during the ride and following there will be an Ice-Cream Truck, Food Truck, Coffee Truck, huge bouncy castle, lawn games, music and more. All registered riders will get a free ice cream from our friends at Trombetta’s Farm Ice Cream. Registration takes place from 8:30am-9:45am. The ride is from 10:00am-11:30am, and food and games will be available from 10:00am - 1:00pm.</p>
<p><em>“The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Always held the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. Each summer, thousands of riders and volunteers from 43 states and 12 countries participate in the PMC, all with a common goal: to find a cure for cancer.</em></p>
<p><em>100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s single largest supporter and is 62 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $972 million for Dana-Farber.”</em></p>
<p>The Sudbury PMC Kids Bike Ride empowers young participants to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a fun activity. By offering multiple course options, every child will have the opportunity to participate and make a difference - regardless of age or ability. Each ride distance is carefully planned to be safe and enjoyable, with designated routes through historic Sudbury neighborhoods that are well-marked and closely monitored by volunteers. For the youngest participants, the tot lot loop provides a secure environment where kids can ride in a contained area - strollers, scooters, tricycles are ALL welcome!</p>
<p>Beyond the joy of bike riding, the Sudbury PMC Kids Bike Ride serves as a powerful educational experience for children, teaching them about the impact of collective efforts in fighting cancer. As they pedal for a purpose, they learn about empathy, community involvement, and the importance of supporting breakthroughs in treatment and cures at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This event not only raises crucial funds for cancer research but also instills valuable life lessons in the young riders; collectively we all pedal towards a more cancer-free future. As with all PMC rides, every penny donated goes directly to cancer treatment and research at Dana-Farber.</p>
