How Much Snow Did Belmont Get?

BELMONT, MA - Schools were closed, flights were canceled, and Belmont residents readied themselves for the second significant storm in four days.

But while the weather was bad at times, especially in Southeastern Mass. and the Cape, things in Belmont didn’t get as messy as predicted.

Tuesday’s unofficial total in nearby Brookline was at only 4.5 inches as of a little after midnight, according to the National Weather Service. The National Weather Service had predicted about a foot of snow for Belmont on Monday.
