Spots Available For Belmont-Waltham Junior Police Academy

The junior academy, available to students age 12-16, teaches participants some of what officers learn in a real police academy.

BELMONT, MA – Spots are still available for the upcoming Belmont-Waltham Junior Police Academy. The academy is open to students ages 12-16 and gives participants a chance to learn some of the same topics officers learn in a real police academy.

These include defensive tactics, motor vehicle laws and car stops, drug ID and investigation, computer forensics and social media safety and much more. Days start off with physical training and then move on to both classroom and practical exercises.

Cost: $150
A commitment to attend for the full program is required.
