Zehava Younger of Beverly to appear in THE WIZARD OF OZ at North Shore Music Theatre

14-year old Zehava Younger of Beverly has been cast in North Shore Music Theatre’s (NSMT) magical production of THE WIZARD OF OZ.  Playing the role of a ‘Munchkin,’ Zehava will be performing in the production from July 16 – August 4. 

No stranger to the stage, Zehava has performed with The Stoneham Theatre in HONK!, with North Shore Music Theatre in 3 seasons of A Christmas Carol, and in Annie as ‘Annie’ and Broadway Review at Neverland Theatre.  She played ‘Lady of Japan’ in Community House Theatre’s production of Hot Mikado, and was in The Merchant of Venice with Rebel Shakespeare.  She has performed with the Puppetoke Musical Puppet Theatre and has sung with Leeny and the Eenie Meenies.  She can also be on screen in “In My Mind” and “I Have Music in Me.”  She will be entering the 8th grade at Briscoe Middle School in Beverly in the Fall.

Audiences will be swept away by NSMT’s celebration of the iconic 1939 MGM film. There truly is no place like home as the greatest family musical of all time lands on the stage of North Shore Music Theatre. The entire family will be captivated as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road and beyond with Dorothy, Toto and their friends the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow.  This lavish production, directed and choreographed by Joel Ferrell, features magical special effects, dazzling choreography and the classic songs audiences love.
