Beverly Firm to Donate $100K to One Fund, Match Employee Donations

An asset management firm in Beverly will donate $100,000 to the One Boston Fund and has offered to donate employee contributions up to the same amount.

Affiliated Managers Group will donate $100,000 to The One Fund, the fund set up to help victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, according to a report by the Salem News.

The company, headquarters on Hale Street on the former Loeb estate property, announced the donations on the same day it announced quarterly earnings that included $502 million in revenue, the News reports.

Chairman and CEO Sean Healey told the paper that he knows several people who were affected by the attacks, including one who was injured and has undergone several surgeries.

The One Fund has raised more than $26 million and this week decisions will start to be made about how to distribute the money to victims, which is expected to be completed by the end of June.
