Beverly To Host Downtown Trick-Or-Treat

This year's trick-or-treating at downtown businesses will be on Oct. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. on Cabot Street and Rantoul Street.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly children will get a chance to get trick-or-treating a bit early this year as Beverly Main Streets and the city host the annual downtown trick-or-treat on Oct. 27.

Downtown businesses are invited to take part in the treat fest from 4 to 6 p.m. Businesses on Rantoul Street and Cabot Street will have the flyer in the window to let people know they are participating.

The city will be closing Cabot Street to cars from approximately 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. from Dane Street to Railroad Avenue. Some one-way side streets that end on Cabot Street may also be closed.

The downtown trick-or-treat is held rain or shine, but may be rescheduled in case of extreme weather.

This year, Beverly Main Streets is introducing a Sweet Success Candy Buy Program, which will allow businesses to order candy through them. It will then be hand delivered to the business when it arrives, along with the orange flyer to place in the window so trick-or-treaters know where to go.
