• Three arrested in connection with cooking oil thefts in Beverly (newportdispatch.com) — Police in Beverly arrested one adult and two juveniles after a neighbor's tip led officers to a van allegedly used to siphon used cooking oil from two Cabot Street restaurants. The Beverly Fire Department helped manage a spill, and officials estimate about $2,750 worth of oil was recovered. The suspects, all from Worcester, face multiple larceny-related charges.
