Beverly Pumpkin Smash Set For Moraine Farm Sunday
Families are invited to dispose of their sagging and softening Halloween jack-o'-lantern pumpkins for composting.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents are invited to turn in their sagging and softening jack-o'-lanterns and other pumpkins for composting during a family-friendly event at Moraine Farm.
The recycled pumpkins will be used to enrich the New Entry's compost and produce while keeping harmful gases out of landfills and the atmosphere.
The event from 1 to 4 p.m. at 733 Cabot Street will include the pumpkin smash, lawn games, sample snacks and beverages, music and a showing of the New England Patriots/Caroline Panthers game and lessons on the benefits of composting.
