Beverly Virtual New Year's Eve For Families

Beverly Main Streets will host a series of programs beginning at 3 p.m. on Dec. 31.

BEVERLY, MA — A virtual New Year's Eve celebration for families will take place in Beverly once again this year.

Beverly's New Year is hosting the event for the 28th year with this year's celebration including a series of free virtual events and a countdown to "midnight" and 2022 beginning at 3 p.m. on Dec. 31.

The events include dancing for all abilities, storytelling and drumming.

"Families and children can join the Zoom celebration from the comfort of their own homes," organizers said.

The dance and movement workshop for all abilities by Abilities Dance will start at 3 p.m.

Doria Hughes will host storytelling at 3:30 p.m.

Afro-Latin drumming with Cornell Coley will start at 4 p.m.

The kids' countdown to "midnight" and 2022 will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Those wishing to take part are invited to register in advance here.

All events are free and open to the public.
