Beverly Voters Back Biden, Trump In Super Tuesday Presidential Primary

Donald Trump bested Nikki Haley 52.7 percent to 43.6 percent in results that were closer than the state average.

BEVERLY, MA — President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump were the top preferences among Beverly voters in Tuesday's Super Tuesday primary in results that somewhat mirrored the state margins.

In unofficial results, Biden won the Democratic vote with 4,149 votes. Finishing second was "No Preference" with 429 votes.

In the Republican primary, Trump received 2,203 votes with Haley second at 1,827 votes. Those results were a closer margin than Trump's victory statewide.

Voters also chose state party committee men and committee women, as well as ward committee representatives on Tuesday.
