Deli, Bagel Bakery Closes Cabot Street Location In Beverly
The short-lived local franchise of a regional chain had only been in business for a few months.
BEVERLY, MA -- NY Bagel Cafe & Deli's stay on Cabot Street in Beverly lasted only slightly longer than a New York Minute. A sign appeared on the door of the business over the weekend, saying it had been permanently closed and thanking Beverly for its patronage. The restaurant had opened late last year.
NY Bagel runs restaurants through a franchise model in eight states. The Beverly location was its only location in Massachusetts. A spokesperson for the company was not immediately available for comment Monday.
