Estate Sale Planned For Memorabilia From Beverly Bowling Alley
The estate sale will be your chance to stock up on bowling pins and balls. Don't have an alley? No problem: Those will be for sale as well.

BEVERLY, MA -- The Beverly Bowl-O-Mat and adjacent River Street Grille closed in March after 64 years in business and months of rumors that the River Street institutions were in their final frame. There is still a lot of speculation about what will happen to the property, but the fate of the property within the property -- including pins, bowling balls and the alleys themselves -- is now certain. They'll all be available for purchase at an estate sale scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
Best Rate Estate Sales & Cleanouts says nearly everything in the building is for sale, including "vintage" Brunswick lockers, tables, chairs, ball returns, bowling shoes, bowling pin machines, display cases, disco balls, disco lights, wall decorations, loads of tools, hardware, industrial equipment, gears, drill press, power tools, advertising signs, and an antique wall clock. The company said the Bowl-O-Mat has "various workshops to explore behind the bowling lanes."
The sale is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at the Bowl-O-Mat. Best Rate Estate has posted more details, including photos of the items it will put up for sale. "Don’t miss this unique and one of a kind event...and bring home a memory from Beverly’s famous Bowl-O-Mat," the company said in its listing.
