Issue at Beverly Airport Shuts Down Halloween Haunted Discovery Flights

Perception Prime Flight School will be offering discounts for the end of fall foliage season.

The Perception Prime Flight School was primed for a busy Halloween on Saturday, offering discounts on Haunted Halloween Discovery Flights over Salem.

Unfortunately, those plans were scuttled when the airport was shut down as a plane with landing gear issues had to make an emergency landing at Beverly Airport.

Luckily, the plane with the landing gear issue (which was not associated with the flight school) landed without any issues.

However, the incident caused the airport to shutdown at 2:30 p.m., just as cars were beginning to line up for the Haunted Flights. The airport did reopen, but it was after the window for families to bring their children before they had to head back home for trick-or-treating.

The staff of the Perception Prime Flight School was crestfallen that they were unable to get the flights off on Halloween. However, they will be offering the special 10 percent discount that they were going to offer on Saturday for the end of the fall foliage season on the North Shore.
