Multiple Egging Reports: Beverly Police Log

Multiple homes were egged, a drummer agreed to use makeshift soundproofing, and more from the Beverly Police log.

  • A driver who had his license for four days was cited for driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone last Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. on Longham Road.
  • Police responded to a report of a suffering seagull in the road at River and Federal streets on Friday around 7 a.m.
  • Officers helped someone locate a dishwasher delivered to Winter Street last Friday evening.
  • Police responded to a report of a group fighting by dumpsters on Apple Road on Saturday around 10 p.m., but couldn't find the group when officers reached the scene.
  • A house and car were egged on Ellsworth Avenue sometime last Saturday night.
  • Officers responded to loud drumming on Boyles Street on Sunday around 1:30 p.m. The drummer agreed to use pillows to absorb the sound until sound deadening materials could be found.
  • A home on Ober Street was egged on Sunday afternoon, and an egg broke a window in the front of the house.
  • Police received a call about a man in a lounge chair smoking a cigar around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday on Rantoul Street.
  • Christian Clemons, 23, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of possession of a class A drug on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. after officers were called to check someone's well being on Russell Street.
  • A man turned in needles found at Lindsay Playground on Tuesday around 5:30 a.m. to the police station, where officers disposed of them.
