• 1 Dead, 1 Missing, 1 Injured After Distressed Boat Found Near Manchester-by-the-Sea (patch.com) — A tragic boating incident off Manchester-by-the-Sea led Beverly and Manchester-by-the-Sea harbormasters to recover two people from the water, one of whom later died at Beverly Hospital. A third person remains missing after an extensive Coast Guard search was suspended, while a dog found alone on the circling boat was safely reunited with its family.
