Beverly Main Streets is looking for feedback and opinions from people who live, work, shop or dine in downtown Beverly in its first community survey in five years.

Beverly Main Streets is conducting its first community survey is five years and is looking for opinions and feedback from across the community.
"A lot has changed since then and we'd love to get your perspective on things," Main Streets said in a recent announcement about the survey.
The goal of Main Streets is "to help make downtown Beverly a strong economic development district for the city and a destination for residents and visitors alike," according to the survey introduction.

The survey is online and is open until April 18. The results will be made public in May.
"If you live, work or study in Beverly - or if you've visited the downtown in the last 12 months - you're eligible to participate," Main Streets said.

The area that is part of the survey includes Cabot Street from the Veterans Memorial Bridge to Gloucester Crossing, all of Rantoul Street, and Elliott Street between Cabot and Rantoul streets.
Questions range from asking respondents about whether they find the signs in teh downtown effective and whether there is enough parking close to where you are headed to whether businesses are well maintained and if you feel safe in certain areas.
Everyone who participates is eligible to win a $25 gift certificate to a downtown business.
