Some Bars Remain Open Through Storm

Many businesses decided to close early on Thursday afternoon. Gov. Deval Patrick closed state offices at 3 p.m. and urged private employers to do the same. On Friday evening, Patrick also urged private employers to close on Friday.

But on Thursday afternoon, many residents were still looking to head out on the town and were looking for places to have fun.

Here's a list of the bars and restaurants that are open during the storm on Thursday night, assembled largely with the help of commenters on the Beverly Patch Facebook page.
