2 Planes Collide On Tarmac At Logan Airport
The collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. while the two JetBlue planes were in the de-icing area, FAA officials told Patch.

BOSTON, MA — Two JetBlue planes collided while on the tarmac at Logan Airport in Boston early Thursday morning, officials confirmed to Patch Thursday.
The collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. while the two planes were in the de-icing area, Federal Aviation Administration officials said.
The left winglet of one of the planes — JetBlue Flight 777 — "touched" the right horizontal stabilizer of JetBlue Flight 551 in an area of the tarmac that the airline controls, according to officials.

A representative for Massport called the incident "very minor" and said no injuries were reported.
One of the flights was destined for Las Vegas and the other for Orlando, Boston.com reported. Both of those flights were canceled.

"Safety is JetBlue’s priority, and we will work to determine how and why this incident occurred," the airline said in a statement shared with WHDH.
