Patricia Quinn will kick off Movie Musicals at the Marketplace series
Boston Comic Con and Faneuil Hall Marketplace today announced that actor Patricia Quinn will appear on Thursday, August 10, 2017, to kick off the “Movie Musicals at the Marketplace” series with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Quinn performed in the original stage production in London and subsequently appeared in the film version that was released in 1975. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the longest running theatrical release in film history, as it is still in limited release more than 40 years after its initial release.
Quinn, who plays Magenta, will be appearing at all three days at Boston Comic Con, August 11 – 13 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
“We are thrilled to be bringing the stars of Rocky Horror Picture Show to Boston,” said Andrew Moyes, Vice President of Boston Comic Con. “The free movie night at Faneuil Hall Marketplace is a great way to show our support for the community and we are pleased to be part of it.”

The film screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show is free and open to the public. There is cabaret-style seating with café tables and chairs. Before the movie starts, guests can walk the “red carpet” to the music of the movie’s era and take photos with cut-outs of the characters.
