Boston Man Arrested In Virginia After Jamaica Plain Home Invasion
According to police, the 55-year-old broke into an Arborway home during the daytime home invasion and sex assault.
BOSTON, MA — U.S. Marshals on Tuesday arrested a Boston man in Virginia who was wanted in connection to a daytime sex assault in Jamaica Plain in October.
According to Boston police, federal agents arrested Washington Pearson, 55, in Norfolk, Va., on Tuesday. He will be returned to Boston to face charges of attempted murder, strangulation, armed robbery, assault to rape and breaking and entering.
The assault happened around noon on Oct. 24 at a home along the Arborway, according to police.

Boston police previously released surveillance footage of Pearson near where the home invasion and assault occurred.
