Instagram Contest: #Friends50th Banner Campaign

The Friends of the Public Garden's Instagram photo contest celebrates 50 years of caring for Boston's historic three parks

To celebrate 50 years of caring Boston’s historic three parks: the Public Garden, Boston Common, and Commonwealth Avenue Mall, the Friends of the Public Garden will be hosting an Instagram contest through June 15.

Nine (9) beautiful, high-impact photos of the three historic parks will be selected for use on the flagpole banners surrounding the parks, beginning in August 2020(visual guideline here).

Friends of the Public Garden wants to showcase all the things that make these parks great, including the natural beauty of trees and flowers; the people, festivals, and activities that bring life to the parks; and the rich history on display through statues and monuments. Entries must be original images taken by you during 2019 or 2020. Entries will be judged on representation of the three parks, visual impact, and composition.
