MA School Closings For Friday, March 9

BOSTON, MA — Although the snow has stopped falling around most of the state and the sun came out for a bit, many are still without power. And that means some schools won't be able to be open in the morning. That's right, we're looking at Round 3 of snow days for some - less than two weeks before the official start of Spring.

Once school officials decide whether or not the weather is too extreme for school, they'll make their announcement on a number of sites. We'll compile that here. • Presentation of Mary Acad./Methuen (closed in the morning)
• Dover-Sherborn Regional Schools (two-hour delay)
• Middleton Elementary (two-hour delay)
• Shawsheen Valley Tech (two-hour delay)
• Topsfield Elementary (two-hour delay)

School closures and early dismissals mean that all public after-school programs, sports meet-ups, adult education classes and High-School Equivalency programs will be canceled as well.
