March Madness: Northeastern Basketball Represents Massachusetts
The Northeastern Huskies take on Kansas Thursday in first round of the NCAA Tournament. Here's how to watch.

BOSTON, MA — The Northeastern men's basketball team's well-timed hot streak means Massachusetts will have a rooting interest in March Madness. The Huskies won seven straight games to win the Colonial Athletic Association championship and clinch their second NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 28 years.
Northeastern will enter the tournament as the No. 13 seed in the Midwest bracket. The Huskies (23-10) take on fourth-seeded Kansas (25-9) on Thursday, March 21, at 4 p.m. in Salt Lake City. It will be the first ever meeting between the two teams. The game will be broadcast on TNT.
The odds don't love Northeastern's chances in the tournament. ESPN gives the Huskies a 14.3 percent chance to beat Kansas, a 2.4 percent chance to advance to the Sweet 16, and a 0.2 percent chance to make the Elite Eight. The team has a 0.0 percent chance to even make the Final Four, according to ESPN.
