More Than 1,700 Without Power In Cleveland Circle

The power went out for a number of streets near the Brookline Boston border just after 5 p.m.

BOSTON, MA — Hundreds of residents in the Cleveland Circle neighborhood of Brighton and near the border with Brookline were without power Monday night.

Around 5 p.m. the lights went dark on Englewood Avenue at dozens of multi unit apartment buildings. More than 1,730 people reported were impacted, according to Eversource.

Eversource said it expected power to be restored by 7 p.m. By 5:30 p.m. some of the power had been turned back on.
