New Deli Brings Bagels, Loaded Sandwiches To Popular Boston Food Hall

It is just the latest of new options inside a 20,000-square-foot food hall in the city's Financial District.

Stack & Schmear officially opened for business inside the High Street Place Food Hall. The deli is serving up sandwiches with fresh spreads, sauces, and high-quality meats on fresh-baked bread or bagels.

This is just the latest of new options inside the 20,000-square-foot food hall, which opened at 100 High St. back in 2022. High Street Place is home to 20 food and beverage vendors, all curated by a range of Greater Boston chefs and restaurateurs.

Stack & Schmear was debuted by the team behind two other popular High Street Place eateries: burger spot Wheelhouse and fried chicken restaurant Haley Janes.

Stack & Schmear will serve breakfast and lunch, offering a menu centered around stacked sandwiches, house-made schmears, and classic deli staples with a modern twist.

Every morning, bagels will be delivered fresh from Massachusetts-based Wicked Bagels. Customers can order anything from an egg sandwich to a bagel topped with cream cheese, peanut butter, or Nutella.

For lunch, the deli will offer its signature sandwiches, including the Mayor Moo with marinated steak, melted cheese, peppers and onions.

To finish off the menu, Stack & Shmear will serve "Dirty Sodas," which are typically customized fountain drinks mixed with cream, flavored syrups and sometimes fresh fruit or lime juice.

The team behind two other popular High Street Place eateries, burger spot Wheelhouse and fried chicken restaurant Haley Janes, is who debuted Stack & Schmear.
