Beloved Burger Chain To Open 2 Locations In MA

BOSTON, MA — A popular NYC chain is bringing its famous burgers to Massachusetts. Check out the video below for an inside look.

7th Street Burger is expected to open not just one but two locations in Boston. Stores at 477 W. Broadway in South Boston and 267 Newbury St. in Back Bay are getting ready to open soon.

7th Street Burger, known for its smashburger variations, operates more than 30 locations in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C., according to its website.

The restaurant originally opened in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood in 2021.

Representatives from the eatery told Patch that its Back Bay location will open on Friday, Mar. 20, while the other in South Boston will open sometime next month.

The South Boston location will take over the former home of Dumpling Daughter.

7th Street told Patch that both of its Massachusetts locations plan to stay open late. The Newbury Street location will close at 11 p.m., while the South Boston location's time is to be determined.

Here's what else is coming to Boston

Meanwhile, 7th Street isn't the only trendy chain coming to Boston.

Joe & The Juice is expanding to Boston. The Denmark-based brand, known for its juices, coffee, and sandwiches, is opening a location at 125 Newbury St. in Boston, according to signage outside the storefront.

Ralph Lauren will open a retail store and its famous coffee brand, Ralph's Coffee, in the city's Seaport neighborhood. The two businesses will open in 2026, according to signage outside the storefronts.

Plus, a handful of chains are expected to open this year and next at Boston's newly renovated Commonwealth Pier.

Ice cream chain Salt & Straw, market Daily Provisions, health foods eatery LifeAlive, Italian restaurant Ci Siamo and Earl's Kitchen & Bar have all been announced for the updated property at 200 Seaport Blvd.
