• Man Arrested After Striking Police Officer While On Moped In Downtown Boston: PD (patch.com) — Boston police say a downtown officer was knocked to the ground by a moped rider in a pedestrian-only section of Franklin Street, then later arrested the suspected rider during a traffic stop near Stuart and Washington streets. The 22-year-old Dorchester man faces a felony warrant and multiple charges, and the officer declined further medical treatment after being evaluated by Boston EMS.
