Pedestrian On I-93 In Boston Hit: State Police Investigating
A woman driving told police she tried but couldn't avoid hitting the man who was walking across the highway around 5 a.m.

BOSTON, MA — A car hit a man walking across I-93 this morning in Boston, sending the pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries and leaving police to investigate just what happened and who he is, State Police said.
Saturday morning just before 5 a.m., 42-year-old Weymouth woman was driving along Route 93 Northbound near Southampton Street, Andrew Sq in a Chevrolet Malibu when she saw someone walking across the highway right in front of her.
"The woman took evasive measures, but was unable to avoid a collision with the pedestrian," police said in a release.

When first responders arrived at Exit 16, in Boston where the crash happened, they found man, but not name and helped transport him to Boston Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
Police are still investigating the crash, but no charges have been filed at this time.
