Person Shot In Boston Before Motorcycle Crashes Into Police Cruiser
The chaotic incident led to the arrest of two people.
BOSTON, MA — Two people were arrested after a shooting and motorcycle crash in the Roxbury neighborhood, according to Boston Police.
Christopher Amill Jr., 20, of Dorchester, and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested after officers assigned to District B-2 responded at approximately 8 p.m. to the area of Roxbury Street and Malcolm X Boulevard. Police found a person suffering from a gunshot wound who was later transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While responding to the scene, officers reportedly saw a motorcycle speeding away from the area in the wrong direction on Shawmut Avenue before turning onto Madison Park Court. As officers followed, the motorcycle collided with a marked police cruiser.

Both occupants attempted to run following the crash, leading officers on a foot pursuit before they were apprehended. When officers returned to the cruiser, they reportedly found a discarded FN Five-seveN handgun with an obliterated serial number and an empty large-capacity magazine in front of the vehicle.
During a search following the arrests, officers also recovered a plastic bag containing multiple individually wrapped bags of crack cocaine, police said.

The 17-year-old was arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court on charges including assault and battery with a firearm, assault with a dangerous weapon, multiple firearm and ammunition offenses, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance and resisting arrest. Police said the teen also had three active warrants on firearm, robbery, assault and battery, and larceny charges.
Amill was arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges including unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, assault with a dangerous weapon, multiple firearm and ammunition offenses, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, and resisting arrest. He was also cited for reckless operation, unlicensed operation, and a marked lanes violation.
