BOSTON, MA — A teenager is facing multiple charges after Boston Police recovered a loaded firearm early Monday during a traffic stop in Dorchester.
The 17-year-old from South Boston was arrested at approximately 12:21 a.m. near 6 Michigan Ave. after officers assigned saw a vehicle blocking a driveway while patrolling the area following the conclusion of the Dominican Festival. Officers spoke with the driver, who reportedly said he did not have a valid driver's license. Police ordered the occupants out of the vehicle one at a time and allegedly found a firearm in the waistband of the 17-year-old, who was sitting in the front passenger seat.
