Trump Excited To Revive Warren's 'Pocahontas' Nickname For 2020

President Donald Trump told a raucous crowd at a reelection rally in New Hampshire he would revive the "Pocahontas" nickname he gave U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren "very easily" and "very quickly."

"Pocahontas is rising" in the polls, Trump said at Southern New Hampshire University, lamenting that he may have hit Warren too early with the nickname. It's unclear if and when Trump ever stopped using the nickname.

"I hit her really hard and it looked like she was down and out but that was too long ago, I should have waited," he said. "But don’t worry, we will revive it."

Trump added, the nickname "can be revived very easily and very quickly and we're going to have some fun."

The president also attacked Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Beto O'Rourke with various insults.

Trump coined the Pocahontas nickname, which some say is racist, in 2016.

The controversy centers around Warren listing herself as having Native American heritage in law schools. She released the results of a DNA test in 2018 that showed a small fraction of Native American lineage. Critics attacked the results, as well as the decision to release them.

Warren has denied using any Native American heritage to gain an advantage.
