Trump Recognizes Boston Teacher as National Teacher of the Year
One Boston educator was recently named the country's top teacher. She was honored in the Oval Office yesterday.
BOSTON - A Boston teacher recently named National Teacher of the Year was honored Wednesday by President Trump.
Sydney Chaffee, a teacher at Codman Academy Charter Public School in Dorchester, was recognized in the Oval Office where top teachers from different states gathered.
"Today we're going to honor one teacher in particular," Trump said. "She is the 2017 National Teacher of the Year Sydney Chaffee."
