After Woman Found In Boston Cemetery On Halloween, Police Seek Tips

BOSTON, MA — Boston police indicated Thursday afternoon that they had identified a woman found dead in a Dorchester cemetery on Halloween.

Police went to the Codman Burying Ground, 64 Norfolk St., around 6 p.m. Monday on a report of a body. Police found the woman in her 20s fully clothed inside the cemetery.

On Wednesday evening, police asked for help identifying the woman. But on Thursday afternoon, police said via social media they no longer needed the public's help.

Police have not said the woman died suspiciously, classifying the incident as an "unattended death."
