3 Indicted After Braintree Stabbing: Prosecution
The indictments stem from a stabbing, which sent two people to to the hospital last November, police said.
BRAINTREE, MA — Three people were indicted by a Norfolk County Grand Jury on assault charges stemming from a November stabbing, where police said two people were sent to the hospital.
Jordan Tabbi-Manning, 26, of East Bridgewater, was charged with armed assault to murder (two counts), aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (two counts), and assault and battery. Chelsea Taylor, 24, of Holbrook and Molly Crowley, 20, of Brockton, were charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery (two counts). Taylor also faces a second assault with a dangerous weapon charge.
On Nov. 4, officers arrived to a Grove Street home witnessed a fight between two women and two men who were suffering from stab wounds. Police told the Patriot Ledger the fight was started when Tabbi-Manning, Taylor, Crowley and a fourth person drove to the house and confonted a woman about selling heroin to Taylor's brother. The confrontation became physical with kicking and punching, and then Tabbi Manning stabbed two men at the house, prosecutors said.

According to police, Tabbi-Manning ran into the woods and was found while paramedics tended to a 50-year-old man's and a 23-year-old man's stab wounds. The injuries were non life-threatening.
The case was previously heard at Quincy District Court on Nov. 5, but with the indictment, was moved to Norfolk County Superior Court in Dedham, where defendants face longer sentences if convicted. Superior Court arraignment is scheduled for April 12.
