Last week, some terrific shops and services located around Braintree, to get your shopping spee off to a good start. This week I will tackle the remainder of the Alphabet, M-Z! Remember, if at all possible, shop the small Mom and Pops! They are what make this country great!

Plaster Fun Time, located within Shaw's Plaza on Pearl Street is a great place for children to go, to make a special gift for a parent or favorite Auntie or Grammy! With a variety of projects to make, your little one can pick there own pottery project and complete a gift that will be cherished forever!

Religious articles, cards, nativities and jewelry are a short ride down past the on West (and right on to 66 Brooks Dr) at the Archdiocese of Boston's gift shop. Run by The Sisters Discipline of the Divine Master, this shop is surprisingly and uniquely well-stocked with very fine gifts. For your more spiritually oriented friends, you can't go wrong here!

Statues, old signs and other antique treasures await you at Braintree's own Little Richie's antique shop located at 50 Hancock St. in Braintree! Make sure to go on a Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or call in advance for an appointment. Little Richie's will certainly provide you with the most talked-about gift of the day!

Tiramasu is a dessert that can be given as a hostess gift or brought along for the Christmas dinner, and what better place to buy it than at the new that just recently opened in the Granite Plaza? Montilio's has gingerbread houses, pies, breads, cookies--the just perfect for all those sweet-toothed foodies in your circle!

Ukelele anyone? With the surge in popularity of bluegrass, folk and indy bands and their various stringed instruments; it may be fun to present your musician with a shiny new instrument. South Shore Music located in Braintree/Weymouth Landing is the go-to place for the best musical instruments in town! They are at 13 Washington St. in Weymouth, right over the Braintree line!

Za – Pizza, that is. Well, I already gave you the story in , but don't forget to purchase you gift certificates from all of Braintree's finest pizza establishments for the approaching long, cold winter! To refresh your memories; , , , , , Pizzeria Regina, and Rosie's to name but a few!

With such a plethora of great shops and services in Braintree, there is no need to tucker yourselves out with driving all over creation in pursuit of the perfect gifts! Shop Braintree, Shop Small!
