The employees of Braintree Printing are an experienced and varied crew of digital and offset printing professionals. Staff include veteran craftsmen trained in the art of traditional lithography, college graduates with degrees in digital design and technicians skilled in operating bindery equipment.
Recently, Braintree Printing created an in-house lending library for all employees to help them keep pace with printing trends and technology. Filled with printing equipment manuals, resource guidebooks, printing trade magazines and how-to books as well as cd's and dvd's, the library lets employees share and learn new information during the workday.
"The printing industry changes on a daily basis; there's always something new to discover," said customer service representative Robin Clark, the company's unofficial technical librarian. The large collection of printed material is organized by category and Clark helps staff locate specific publications. The library allows easy access to printing and graphic communications information, sales and marketing techniques and new media trends.
