Arrest Made In Thursday's Braintree Shooting: Police
A juvenile now faces charges including armed assault with intent to murder.
BRAINTREE, MA — Police have arrested a juvenile in connection with the shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon on Skyline Drive.
Due to the individual's age, Braintree police won’t release identifying information but on Friday morning said the person will face charges of armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a large-capacity firearm.
The shooting victim was hospitalized late yesterday with non-life-threatening injuries. The juvenile is due to be arraigned, according to a statement.

Investigators said previously that the shooting was not a random incident but did not elaborate on what that meant.
Skyline Drive is in a residential area of North Braintree, with numerous apartment buildings.
