Boston Couple Charged with Robbing Braintree Gas Station

Two people from Boston were arrested Monday night after attempting to rob a gas station, according to police.
Anthony Jackson, 24, and Teara Bone, 22, both of Boston were arrested shortly before 10 p.m. and charged with armed robbery, according to Police Chief Russ Jenkins.

Police received a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at the Quality Fuel and Service gas station located at 681 Washington St. The victim told officers a grey colored Jeep entered the station and a female purchased some gas for the vehicle. Moments later two men approached the victim, one of whom was allegedly holding a firearm, and demanded the victim turn over money. The victim complied and then the two men entered the grey Jeep with the female driving and fled the area with a quantity of money.
Moments after the robbery Officer William Donnellan observed a jeep matching the description of the suspect vehicle running and parked in the Motel 6 parking lot. Officer Paul Hamilton joined him and the officers observed a female enter a vehicle parked next to the jeep and exit the parking lot. The woman was stopped a short distance away on Union Street and questioned about her recent activities.

The robbery victim was brought to the motel and made an identification of the woman, who was identified as Bone. The victim also identified the jeep in the lot as the one the suspects had fled in.
The investigation led officers to a room in the motel where a man identified as Jackson was located and arrested after several clothing items matching the description of clothing worn by the robbery suspects were observed in the room. The clothing and other items were seized as possible evidence of the robbery.
