Rev. Augustine Kelly, O.S.B., dean of the college, announces the following students that were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester at Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must compile a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
On April 27, 80 senior nursing students received their Saint Anselm College nurse's pin at the 2013 pinning ceremony in the Abbey Church. Included in this ceremony were:

Sara Duane of Braintree.
Megan Sullivan of Braintree.
It was a special day for the nursing students, who received a pin featuring elements of the college's official seal and the symbol of a lamp referring to Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp of my steps and a light for my path." Dr. Sharon George, dean of nursing, pinned the students.
The pinning ceremony is a celebration of a student's completion of Saint Anselm College's nursing program and symbolizes preparedness to serve as a compassionate caregiver in the healthcare setting.
These students received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing on May 18 at Saint Anselm College's commencement ceremonies.

Kenneth R. Feinberg, Esq., administrator of The One Fund Boston - a city- and state-sponsored charitable effort to raise money for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing attack, served as Commencement speaker and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
Feinberg previously, and most notably, served as the Special Master of the Federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001.
During his Commencement address, Feinberg urged graduates to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead of them.
"If I have learned one lesson in my professional life dealing with unforeseen tragedy and misfortune, on 9/11, in the Gulf of Mexico, and now in Boston, it is this - take nothing for granted," said Feinberg.
During the Commencement ceremonies, Curry College also awarded an honorary degree posthumously to Jerald S. Savage, who had been a longtime member of the Curry College Board of Trustees since 1996, and was the Treasurer of the Board at the time of his passing in August 2012. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Public Administration Degree. Mr. Savage's wife, Sheryl Forman Savage, an alumna of the Curry College Class of 1999, accepted the honorary degree on his behalf.
