Name Of Man Killed In Braintree-Quincy Line Crash Released
The Braintree-Quincy line at Willard Street was closed Sunday night following a fatal incident.

QUINCY, MA — One person is dead following a crash at the Braintree-Quincy line. At about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, a man was struck on the Quincy side of Willard Street, the Norfolk District Attorney's office and State Police have confirmed.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota Camry operated by a 52-year-old Brockton woman struck 46-year-old Timothy M. Ring of Quincy, who was crossing Willard Street from a business park toward Ethan Allen. Ring was subsequently struck by another Toyota Camry, operated by a 51-year-old North Quincy woman. A third vehicle, a Mazda CX5 operated by a 40-year-old Quincy woman, then struck Ring, according to State Police.
Ring was later pronounced dead. All three drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with police.

The area was shut down while officers conducted an investigation.
The entire matter remains under active investigation with no charges or citations issued at this time, according to the DA's office.
