Braintree CVS Armed Robbery Suspect In Custody
The man accused of armed robbery at a Braintree CVS faces additional robbery charges out of Brockton.
BRAINTREE, MA — A man accused of an armed robbery at a Braintree CVS store was arrested in Brockton over the weekend.
Brockton police announced that the 33-year-old Brockton resident was arrested on Saturday, and that he is suspected of at least three armed robberies in Brockton over the past two weeks.
Braintree Police alerted the Brockton department to an armed robbery at the Washington Street CVS that took place on Friday, sparking a multi-hour manhunt.

The man, who was unnamed by police, faces several charges tied to the robberies of a McDonald's on Montello Street, Seasons Gas Station on Belmont Street and CVS on Centre Street in Brockton.
Police are investigating whether the suspect was also responsible for the armed robbery at Cumberland Farms on Crescent Street in Brockton on Jan. 22, officials said.
A judge will formally charge him during arraignment proceedings in District Court on Monday.
