Braintree Medical Company to Present Ideas to Investors Friday

The Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council (MassMEDIC), the association of medical device manufacturers in Massachusetts, will host its 13^th Annual MedTech Investors Conference this Friday. 

The day-long conference will feature 22 start-up, pre-venture medical device companies that are seeking investors and partners to bring their new medical devices to market. These include Haemonetics Corporation of Braintree. Each will have 10 minutes to present their new technologies before venture capitalists and industry leaders. 

The conference will also include a report by John Westwood of L.E.K. Consulting entitled, ‘Venture Capital & MedTech: What now’, an analysis of the challenges facing medical device companies seeking venture capital funds.  A panel discussion will address the state of medtech innovation and investment trends, and Cam Neely, president of the Boston Bruins, will give remarks on ‘Assembling a Winning Team.’
