Braintree Trust Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize

BRAINTREE, MA — A local trust has an extra $1 million following a big lottery win.

The STW Nominee Trust of Braintree has claimed Massachusetts State Lottery’s "40th Anniversary Millions” instant game's 30th $1 million prize.

The trust, represented by trustee Peter Herbst, chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000, according to Lottery officials. The winning ticket was purchased at Stop & Shop in North Quincy. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

One $10 million prize and five $1 million prizes remain in the game.
