BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree resident is taking on the 2017 Boston Marathon in the name of supporting homeless and low-income children and women
Erynn Sweeney is among 10 runners that will make the trip from Hopkinton to Boston as part of the Project Hope team. Thanks to a partnership with John Hancock’s Non-Profit Program, Project Hope received ten entry bibs for the marathon.
“We applaud Erynn Sweeney and our running team that symbolizes the struggles of our families with their hard work, dedication and commitment to reach the finish line,” said Linda Wood-Boyle, Executive Director of Project Hope, said in a release. “Their journey of 26.2 miles, and all the training leading up to it, helps us raise vital funds and connects us to new sources of support. Join us in supporting our Project Hope runners as they pursue their fundraising goals for a great cause.”
