Community Matters To Local Spin-A-Thon Riders

Liberty Bay Credit Union Employees Pedal For A Purpose

We all recognize how much community matters, but the Old Colony YMCA and the volunteer arm of Liberty Bay Credit Union, Community Matters, are not just spinning their wheels thinking of how to help their communities, they are “Pedaling for a Purpose.”

The Old Colony YMCA in Stoughton, with partners like the Liberty Bay Credit Union Community Matters team, held a Spin-A-Thon, Saturday, March 9th, to help raise the funds necessary to provide access to essential programming such as summer camps, scholarships and mentoring services. Tracey Hart of Liberty Bay Credit Union Community Matters, who is also a spin instructor said, “This is my 4th year leading our amazing team and I couldn’t be more proud of my co-workers, I feel very blessed to spend the afternoon with such an amazing group of people.”

The Liberty Bay Credit Union Community Matters team had 18 participants who raised over $700 for the Old Colony YMCA.
