Curiosity has been called, variously, a "secret of happiness," a conqueror of fear, the "life blood" of civilization, "the wick in the candle of learning" and, of course, the thing that killed some cat.

It is also a great tool for bringing people together, for connecting them and solving problems. And so over the next few months on Braintree Patch we will work to satisfy your curiosity about aspects of the town by starting lively discussions with people in Braintree well-versed in topics ranging from municipal government and small business to school issues and the local art scene.

As part of a new series of live question-and-answer sessions with Braintree's community leaders, we will kick-off with a Live Chat featuring Braintree Cooperative Bank President Paul Pecci at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.

The chat is very simple to use – just like clicking through to an article. Anyone can jump in and ask questions as Local Editor Joseph Markman rolls through a series of topics with Pecci, taking questions from readers and posing some of his own.
