New Group Hopes To Bring Dog Park To Braintree

The first meeting of the Braintree Dog Park Committee is Saturday afternoon.

BRAINTREE, MA — A new group in town is hoping to help find a new place in town for dogs to enjoy the outdoors.

The Braintree Dog Park Committee describes itself as "a group of concerned pet parents looking to create a safe space where pups can run free and get their much needed exercise."

Sarah Deloy, the group's owner, told the Patriot Ledger that the idea for the committee came from online discussions on the topic. She said the new committee's goal will be to find a location in town for the park, come up with the costs, and present it to town officials.
