Outdoor Water Use Banned in Braintree

BRAINTREE, MA — The end of summer might be around the corner but the water situation in Braintree isn't getting any better.

Wednesday, the town announced that the water ban has been upgraded to Phase 4. A Phase 4 ban is established when reservoirs are under 70 percent full will no incoming water.

During the ban, all outside watering is prohibited.

On the rain front, there is a 40 percent chance of rain Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
