Serial Bank Robber Sought by FBI
The suspect has robbed two local banks in the past two weeks.

The identity of the suspect who robbed banks in Milton and Braintree is being investigated by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force.
The FBI investigation is receiving assistance from Massachusetts State Police, Braintree and Milton police, according to NECN.
The suspect is described as a clean shaven, 25 to 30 year-old black male, around 6 feet tall, with a medium, athletic build. He may have a tattoo on the right side of his neck. The FBI considers this man armed and dangerous.

The first robbery took place at Braintree Century Bank, 703 Granite St., on Monday, July 28 around 10:20 a.m. The man was wearing a white dress shirt, yellow tie, Boston Red Sox hat and sunglasses. For more details, read Patch’s story on the Braintree bank robbery.
Two weeks later, the suspect robbed Citizens Bank in Milton, 420 Granite Ave., on Monday, Aug. 11 around 1 p.m. He wore a checkered plaid blue/gray button-up collared shirt, blue jeans and designer sunglasses, and was carrying a Converse sneaker box. The suspect fled the bank in a light red Ford Edge SUV with a partial Massachusetts registration of 69. To find out more information, read Patch’s story on the Milton bank robbery.

In each robbery, the suspect passed a note to the bank teller demanding money. No weapon was shown during the robberies, although he motioned towards his waistband, as if reaching for a weapon, in the MIlton robbery.
