South Shore Conservatory Pianist Takes Home Prize in the Talented Young Musician Competition

Braintree student performs at NYC's Lincoln Center

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) congratulates SSC pianist May Ng who performed December 5 at Lincoln Center in New York City along with other musicians who placed second in the Talented Young Musician Association’s 12th Annual Russian Music Competition held in Boston in early November.

A student of HuiMin Wang, May also recently won third prize in SSC’s Piano Solo Competition. She is a fifth grader at Hollis Elementary School in Braintree. May is an avid gymnast, enjoys drawing and reading in her free time, and is also a big cat lover.

South Shore Conservatory, (SSC) has been providing access to and enriching the lives of South Shore residents through music and the arts for 45 years.
